As well as the championship sized billard table and the grand piano, the house is well stocked with books, board games. TV/DVD is also available.
We have croquet, badminton and boules sets for the lawn.
Walking from the house:
-Gardens at Farran house: We have 12 acres of gardens and 2 kilometers of woodland paths to explore. See our 'grounds' page for details
-Farran wood: Once part of the estate of Farran House, it is now a public forest park, run by the forestry board. It is 2 miles from the house

-Kilcrea Castle and Friary: Built in the 15th century by Cormac MacCarthy, king of munster (he also built nearby Blarney castle). They are remarkably well preserved and have an interesting history. They are 1.5 miles from the house
