Even though Farran House is more than 200 years old it defies classification. It was designed free of the constraints of the architectural fashion of the day. Instead the design was influenced more by the elements of light and proportion, much the same way that modern architects are influenced today.
Every room in the main house has one window facing south and another one facing in a different direction. As a result the rooms have a very warm and bright atmosphere. The interior is decorated thoughtfully and you are surrounded by beauty at every turn.
