Terms and conditions for Farran House Rental
Booking Deposit:
A non-refundable booking deposit of 30% of the total rental cost of the property is required at the point of booking.
No invoice or letter of confirmation can be dispatched to you until the booking deposit has been received.
Balance of Payment:
Full payment of rental must be made to us, no later than 4 weeks prior to the rental commencement date.
We will send you an email 7 days before your balance is due to remind you that your balance will be automatically collected from the card you provided at the time of booking on the balance due date. After we process your payment then you will then receive a receipt for the balance paid and some practical details about your stay.
In the event of us being unable to process your card to collect the balance due you will receive an email notification to update your card. If we do not receive updated card details at this stage your booking will be cancelled, and your deposit retained.
Method of Payment:
We accept payment by Debit or Credit Card or Bank Transfer.
Upon making a card payment (Mastercard, Visa.) you are giving Farran House authorisation to send instructions to the financial institution that issued your card to take payment(s) from the card account in accordance with the terms and conditions stated on this website.
Cancellation by Customer:
Payments are non-refundable unless your stay is resold to another customer.
damage to holiday accommodation, water or electricity supply issues, riots, acts of civil war, civil commotion, requisition of property, insolvency or default of any provider of the accommodation, delays due to construction, or any other reason or event which Trident Holiday Homes acting as Agents even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall.
Utility Charges:
Electricity and heating are included in the rental rate. However, they are metered and in the event of excessive use there will be a charge.
Mandatory Security Deposit:
A refundable security deposit of €700 must be paid upon check-in Refusal or inability to pay this prior to check-in is grounds for us cancelling the booking without out any refund of any monies paid to date.
All payments will be pre-authorised on your debit or credit card upon arrival and automatically released off your card after departure. Payment by a debit card will charge your bank account with the applicable deposit which is manually refunded by us within 7 days of departure.
All refunds are paid within 7 days of departure once the On-site Manager is satisfied and the terms and conditions of rental have been compiled with. Failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of all or part of your security deposit.
Arrival & Departure Time:
Arrival time is 4.00pm and departure time is 10.00am
If this is not convenient, you can contact Farran House to arrange alternatives.
Right to Decline:
Farran House reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final payment.
Behaviour:
Farran House reserves the right to decline and / or terminate a booking if its believes that nature or purpose of the booking proposed by the Guests seeking to occupy a property either prior to or during a holiday is inconsistent and not suited to the nature and of location of the property.
Accommodation Capacity:
For Insurance reasons, only the people listed on the guest list can be present at the house.
Bringing your Pet on Holiday:
Guests are not allowed to bring pets to Farran House
Liability:
Farran House, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay.
Bed Linen & Towels:
Bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge.
Towels are changed after 4 days, bed linen after 7. There may be a charge for extra towels or bed linen.
Cots & Highchairs:
Cots and highchairs are available but must be booked in advance
Party Bookings:
Farran House does not accept bookings from groups of parties under the age of 25, or hen/stag parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to refuse to check-in such groups and will not refund any monies paid in advance in the event of non-disclosure of the age of the occupants.
Age Restrictions:
No guest under the age of 18 can book Farran House.. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one person over 18 years of age.
Guest List:
All customers must fill out a guest list, showing the names of all people who will be present at the house and the age of all children under the age of 18
